Figuring Through the New Testament
This year our elementary students will be journeying back to the first century and taking a fresh look at the birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus. We will examine how the early believers grew in their faith, who were the people that wrote letters to the churches, and what will happen when Jesus returns.
During our Bible study our students will learn to locate Biblical locations related to the people and events of the New Testament. They will also practice using Biblical Reference books to give them the lifelong skills they need to study the Bible. Our students will also take part in action plays, participate in feasts, listen to radio dramas of Biblical stories, and sing songs that relate to our Biblical studies.
We are looking forward to helping our students learn the Gospel and show them how to effectively share the love of Jesus through stick figures.
Betty King will be teaching on some of the better known parables like the prodigal son, the good Samaritan, the parable of the sower, and more from The Parables of Jesus, by R.T. Kendall. We will cover 12 parables during the winter quarter.
Our Elementary kids built King Solomon's Temple.
